Geese Terror!

According to a fun press release that just hit the Eater inbox, protesters from the Portland Animal Defense League will be demonstrating outside Beast and Le Pigeon tomorrow night to protest the restaurants' use of foie gras. Naomi Pomeroy and Gabriel Rucker will have to contend with the self-proclaimed "domestic terrorists" — one of whom was incarcerated for setting fire to SUVs in Eugene — who will force the chefs to atone for "[Foie gras'] extremely cruel procedure [that] invokes a very real terror in the geese who are subjected to it.” Happy weekend!
