Tastebud Expands Hours, FIN Sets Date, Violetta Gets Happy

SOUTHEAST: SE Milwaukie's Tastebud Dining Room will now fire up its wood oven an extra day per week, opening up its outdoor patio for summer sun and pizza slices Wednesday through Sunday. Mark Doxtader's bagels and foccacia sandwiches are also available at the newly minted Pioneer Courthouse Square Farmers' Market — leaving sad ol' Tuesdays the only day of the week without some Tastebud love.

HAWTHORNE: Trent Pierce's upcoming fish house FIN set its official opening date for July 28, with service from Wednesday to Sundays (daily service, hopefully, will begin in the fall).

DOWNTOWN: The epic dining saga known as Violetta has been open for a whole week (!!!), and the slow-fast-food burger spot announced a weekly Friday-only happy hour, beginning today. The outdoor seating terrace will welcome happy-goers from 4 to 7pm throughout the summer, featuring discounted sangria, beer, and food.
