Desperate for reinvention, Starbucks is experimenting with serving alcohol — and creating some "coffee theater." One trial run in a Seattle Starbucks will offer customers wines from the Pacific Northwest and local microbrews, and espresso machines will brew cups for customers one at a time, encouraging more barista interaction.
