NORTHEAST: Micah Camden — of DOC, Yakuza, and the upcoming Little Big Burger — is looking to extend his empire to the grocery shelf, as well. MIX mag reports that Camden's Catsup, which features "organic tomato paste and puree, honey, champagne vinegar, roasted garlic, caramelized onions, clove oil, sea salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes" (got that?) will hit shelves soon.
SOUTHEAST: Good news for line-waiters and pizza snobs: The hallowed ground known as Ken's Artisan Pizza is extending its weekly hours, adding a 4pm to 9pm Sunday service beginning July 18. With the Monday night pizza specials at the NW outpost of Ken's Artisan Bakery, Ken Forkish's freakishly addictive pies now proliferate PDX seven days a week.
DOWNTOWN: According to its latest update, the human behavior experiment-slash-food cart PieLab will open for business during the 30-Hour Day Festival in Pioneer Courthouse Square this weekend — despite the fact that the project is still $600 short of its fundraising goal.
