PEARL DISTRICT: Peruvian tapas restaurant Andina is always a sucker for a good cause; tonight, it's throwing a fundraiser for Friends of the Q'ero Community, which aims to build a new school and community center for the Q'eros, also known as the last-living Incas. The $150 donation will get guests more than a dozen different tapas, wine, and the satisfying feeling of helping out those in need.

SOUTHEAST: Attention budding micro-gastronomists: This week's installment of OMSI's Science Pub Portland at the Bagdad Theater explores the science behind Oregon's award-winning artisan cheeses. Stop by to learn how to best have your way with whey. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

SOUTHEAST: Beervana hotspot Belmont Station kicks off its month of "Barrel Mondays," during which it'll tap two different rare, barrel-aged beers for guests' drinking pleasure. On tap today are Moylan's Scotch Ale and Blarneywine; upcoming events include casks from Deschutes, Full Sail, and Dogfish.
