Southeast's Roots Organic Brewing Company Calls it Quits

Oregon's first certified all-organic brewery, sadly, has closed its doors. Oregonian beer man John Foyston reports that the Roots Brewing Company — and its five-year-old Southeast brewpub — has permanently gone out of business, after attempts by owner Craig Nicholls to sell the brand failed. Though details are still up in the air, Foyston reports that there is still a possibility that Roots' brews will be available on store shelves. Breaking...
