Finales Sweetens NW 21st, Cloud Seven Cafe Debuts in Pearl

Two semi-recent openings to report in Northwest Portland: Finales Desserts, once a strictly wedding cake and wholesale business (Moonstruck Chocolates carries its pastries) debuted its first-ever retail location a couple weeks ago, across the way from Serratto on NW 21st. Owner/pastry chef Erica Bentson offers baked goods and coffee drinks until 10pm Thursdays through Saturdays (though she closes up shop slightly earlier during the week), in addition to weekend special events like strawberry shortcake socials. And over in the Pearl, as previously reported, Cloud Seven Cafe has officially taken over the Sip & Kranz locale, opening for business earlier this week.
