This just in: Food Carts Portland's post-weekend post reports a couple noteworthy, unfortunate cart closures. PSU's Asaase Ital Palace, once manned by Portland's Vegan Iron Chef Qausu AsaaseYaa, has closed and will be reborn (under new ownership) as Monster Meatballs. Over on SW 3rd and Ash, Rick’s Wild Seafood — and its giant wooden fish sculpture — has shuttered after slightly more than one year in business. And in happy cart news, after a couple weeks' worth of delays, the Frying Scotsman finally makes its downtown debut today, with extended hours from 11am to 5pm.
