Grüner Reveals Lunch Menu, Midday Meals Start July 5

In a clever ploy to remind everyone pre-long-weekend that Grüner's lunch service begins on July 5, chef Chris Israel reveals the summer lunch menu, which features a slew of sandwiches for $8 and nothing over $14 (just one item, a flatiron steak salad, hits that high price point).

Also on offer: A BLB sandwich (which replaces the tomato in a traditional BLT with beets), a pizza-like Alpine Alsatian tarte flambee, and the "Swiss Cuban," a sandwich with piled-on griddled pork loin, speck, and gruyere.
