Things today lacks: Summer weather... and newsworthy nuggets. This morning, MSN.com picked up a hilarious local KGW story about a stolen hot-dog costume. Frankie, the mascot of SE's Frankie's Franks, was stolen from outside the restaurant on Saturday, only to be found abandoned at a bus stop yesterday: "Employees said he's been ripped and torn, he's split apart, and he's missing an eye."
