Last September, Portland Business Journal announced Restaurant Unlimited Corp. would close three of its restaurants, including the Pearl District's Palomino and Stanford's at RiverPlace, of which they did. But something interesting happened with the third: Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steak House, located in downtown's Embassy Suites, never closed.
But it's about to change — hands that is. Kincaid's is going local with a brand new Portland-based owner who will change the name to Portland Prime and give the space with a complete remodel, charcuterie bar, new menu and chef.
