Ace Hotel/Clyde Common Sports Bar Concept Has the Spirit

The the forthcoming sports bar collaboration between Clyde Common and the Ace Hotel finally has a name: WWeek reports that Ace co-owner Jack Barron will call the spot Spirit of 77, after the year of the Trailblazers' NBA championship win. As previously reported, the spot will become the third notch in Nate Tilden's local empire (which includes Clyde and Olympic Provisions); as in the former two hotspots, Tilden will oversee the menu while Ace handles the hipster-cool branding duties.
