Alchemy Brewing Changes Name, Moving to E. Burnside

Alchemy Brewing, which has long been stewing and brewing in SE Portland, finally has a brick-and-mortar location — and new name. The brewery, owned by Jason McAdam and Adam Cassie, has been christened Burnside Brewing Co. in honor of its new home on E. Burnside, in a space formerly known as the kiddie-friendly Airplay Cafe. Opening date still TBA, but the owners write that "we expect to receive our 15 barrel brewery in the fall and hope to open with guest taps around that time."
