(Now Closed) Invasion Giving (Some of) It Away for Free

According to its Facebook page, Invasion Nightclub, one of downtown's most notorious cafes/watering holes (think boy strippers, kinky cocktails, and strong coffee), closed up shop for good on Saturday, July 17, with a party it called "Destruction."

Now according to this Craigslist ad, just posted under "free stuff," the former club owners are giving what's left of the club—or at least some of it—away for free. All "smallwares pans, glasses kitchen stuff are FREE" and "furniture is for sale for cheap!" According to owner Shane Stark (who told Eater he has already relocated to Hawaii) most of the big ticket stuff is already taken, but there are still a few chairs and futons up for grabs.
