The Deal: Think of this as Rich Man/Poor Man dining. Cafe Nell is currently serving a seasonal seafood platter for $59. But on the other end of the spectrum, it just kicked off its Plate du Jour menu, offering Portland diners a unique dish each night of the week that is created to give them a rush of their favorite foods from childhood... with a twist. Monday's dish: Tim's Jalapeno potato-chip-crusted fried chicken served with fried potato salad and biscuits with peach butter (more like "butta"). Friggin' amazing and only $16.
