SOUTHEAST: Dick's Kitchen, a sustainable and organically-minded diner owned by the same proprietor of the next-door Laughing Planet, has bowed on SE 33rd and Belmont. Reports say that the spot will work out the kinks over the next few weeks and celebrate an official grand opening in mid-August. Early Yelp reviews are positive, and extra bonus points for the Yankee Stadium mural. (Seriously.)
NORTHEAST: Mike Thelin reports (via the Twitterverse) that the upcoming Clyde Common/Ace Hotel sports bar, recently christened Spirit of '77, has a tentative opening date of October 1.
NORTHEAST: Hot off the heels of news that Beaker & Flask is expanding its existing space to include a bar proper, FoodDude reports that the name tentatively being thrown around is Rum Club.
