It's Official: Hamburger Mary's Will Sit Pretty in Old Town

Looks like the swirling rumors surrounding the location of the reborn Portland outpost of Hamburger Mary's — a California-based chain of LGBT-friendly bars — can finally be put to rest. According to a liquor license application filed earlier this week (and contrary to previous, well-sourced reports), Hamburger Mary's is moving into the former Pasha Restaurant and Lounge space in Old Town, complete with 150+ seating capacity, a 300-square-foot dance floor, and "Drag Queen performances" listed under "Other entertainment." Given the Mary mascot's cheeky persona, can't say we're surprised that local owners kept the locale so close to the chest.
