How's this for a great New York Times metaphor? KOi Fusion commander-in-chief Bo Kwon makes no apology about borrowing the mobile K-taco concept from L.A.'s Roy Choi — or as the Times puts it, "Kwon['s] menu borrowed from Mr. Choi’s in the manner that 50 Cent sampled Biggie Smalls." The Korean taco craze gets a full-on dining article and slideshow from the paper of record, and in addition to the KOi boys, Portland trucks Boolkogi Korean BBQ, Bulkogi Korean BBQ, and Korean Twist also get a shoutout.
