Tails & Trotters Goes Viral for Brick-and-Mortar Funds

Tails & Trotters' porky people Morgan Brownlow and Aaron Silverman announced their plans for a brick-and-mortar location a few weeks ago, and as promised, fundraising efforts have sprung into action, Internet-style, with Tails & Trotters' donation appeal vid now live at Kickstarter. According to Silverman, Tails is in need of an additional $10,000 (to be added to current capital) to outfit a shop space ("We’re encouraging folks to look at kickstarter pledges as a sort of deposit towards future purchases," he says. "We can’t sell our prosciutto and other charcuterie until we have a shop to operate as licensed production space!"). And to further encourage prosciutto fanatics to kick in a Jackson or five, Tails & Trotters is making the rounds live and in-person — catch them at a prosciutto-tasting fundraiser at Cheese Bar this Sunday.
