More post-weekend news catch-up:
SOUTHEAST: One of Portland's big summer resto openings, Trent Pierce's seafood spot Fin, will soon debut a late-night menu for the after-dinner crowd. According to Pierce, the post-9pm offerings will be "all small plates, and will include crudo items and some rustic seafood dishes." Closing time will depend on business, but expect Fin to stay open until at least 11pm nightly.
DOWNTOWN: Eagle-eyed tipsters at PortlandFood.org note that a "for sale" sign is hanging in the window at downtown's Indonesian lunch spot Taste of Jakarta. The restaurant opened in late 2008; no word on reason for sale.
CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL: Due to high demand, Olympic Provisions is adding a second butchery class to its roster: Mark your calendars for the following weekend, Sunday, September 12.
