Sad news over the weekend EaterWire: Elizabeth Montes has shuttered the retail location of her Sagahun chocolate shop. Sahagun's high-profile mention in the New York Times (among other places) lead Montes to cut shop hours earlier this year; now, she will shift her focus entirely to wholesale orders. Chocoholics can still pick up her goodies, including the life-changing KA-POW! bar, at Cacao, the Meadow, Cheese Bar, and Water Ave. Coffee, among other places — though we'd like to give a quick parting eulogy to the shop's iced chocolate and sodas, which will probs not be available elsewhere. RIP.
