BeerFests

Is it us, or has it been a couple weekends (gasp!) since the last big beer event? The Green Dragon gets things back on track with its second-annual Nano Fest this weekend, a celebration dedicated to local breweries that produce less than 996 barrels per year. More then 25 micro-microbreweries will be on-hand to pour at the outdoor block party, including Heater Allen, Upright Brewing, Captured by Porches, and Breakside; featured food carts include Namu, Domo Dogs, Superdogs and KOi Fusion. The fest fetes beginning at 11am both tomorrow and Sunday — $10 gets admission and five taster tickets, with proceeds benefiting the Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School. Also: Free shuffleboard. That is all.
