Seed to Plate: A Garden Story from Riley Hooper on Vimeo.

East Burnside's rooftop wine bar Noble Rot gets the short documentary treatment from local amateur filmmaker Riley Hooper, and the result — Seed to Plate: A Garden Story is a sweet portrait of what makes Portland's food scene unique. Noble Rot's chef/co-owner Leather Storr and official restaurant gardener Marc Boucher-Colbert talk viewers through the ideology and work ethic behind growing an urban rooftop garden. Hooper's video is one of the top five finalists in Vimeo's "One Dam [sic] Good Town" documentary contest, so if you feel so inclined, click over to give PDX a vote.
