And no, that's not a double entendre. Portland's Lan Su Classical Chinese Garden is celebrating its 10th anniversary with Mooncakes & Pomegranates, a vaguely Asian-sounding foodie fest featuring bites from the non-Asian Park Kitchen, Davis Street Tavern, Ten 01, Jake's Famous, and Portland City Grill (among others). Eighteen restaurants and chefs (including the actually Asian-influenced Ping and Tao of Tea) will set up shop inside the garden's walls tomorrow night, doling out tastes beginning at 6:30pm; booze will be provided by Forest Grove's SakeOne. A portion of the $65 general admission ticket is tax-deductible, as the Lan Su Garden is a not-for-profit association.
