Ingredients, a recently released documentary that explores the locavore food movement, brought its cameras into the kitchens of local-food heavyweights like Alice Waters and Savoy's Peter Hoffman to get their take on eating sustainably. But not surprisingly (for a town where chefs are continually inspired by cooking local), PDX locavore legends are also heavily represented in the film, with Greg Higgins (Higgins), Cathy Whims (Nostrana), and Scott Dolich (Park Kitchen) — among many other chefs, farmers, and policy-makers — getting camera close-ups. The film screens this Thursday night at the NW Film Center.
