Killer Burger starts grilling today in the spot formerly known as Nasca Peruvian Restaurant, and just as to be expected from a burger joint, the menu is swimming in bacon, "smokey house sauce," and specialty burgers — including the sweet-and-savory peanut-butter-pickle-bacon concoction, which smears a sweet housemade peanut sauce on top of a dill pickle. Owners Mark McCrary and TJ Southard describe their patties as "carmelized" — and as to be expected, there's an eating challenge on the menu: Finish the roasted habanero burger dubbed "the Marine," and win yourself a prize.
