PDX Chefs Whims, Dolich, and French Leading "Food Adventures"

Just in case hanging around the chef's counter and/or tracking your favorite chef during their farmer's market trips seems a little too let's-get-a-restraining-ordery to you, the just-announced Portland Food Adventures series will put you front-and-center with some of PDX's best chefs, who will hobnob with guests at a multi-course meal at their restaurant — then map out an itinerary of their favorite spots to wine and dine when they're not at work. Each event includes major face time with the chef in question and $50 in coupons to their favorite places (to be used at your leisure). Nostrana's Cathy Whims kicks off the series on September 29 (her fave places, FYI, include Tastebud, Bar Avignon, and the People's Pig); Park Kitchen's Scott Dolich (who hearts Cheese Bar and Pine State Biscuits) and Ned Ludd's Jason French (who gives props to Meat Cheese Bread and Cartopia) round out the first leg of the series in October.
