Mississippi's TaiYou to Rebrand into Thai-Influenced Bar

The former Lovely Hula Hands space has claimed its first victim: TaiYou, the three-month-old Japanese restaurant that extolled the "exciting flavors of Japanese food" to N. Mississippi crowds, has abandoned the whole Japanese thing. According to a poster in the window (and construction noises emanating from within):

"A new restaurant and bar is coming soon featuring killer Esan Thai salads, a full bar and cocktail menu, happy hour, upstairs lounge, and late-night food! Stay tuned for the magic. See you in September."

It's unclear if TaiYou 2.0 is retaining its name and original owners.
