Southeast's Coava Coffee Roasters continue to bask in the glow of great press: Hot off some New York Times love for its $50 stainless steel "Kone" filter, owners Keith Gehrke and Matt Higgins give WWeek a sneak peek at their latest technological creation, "the Funnel." Per the article: "Instead of a pour-over, the Funnel is a “full immersion” brewer, in which the coffee is left alone to steep in the water — like a French press — before filtering through a Kone into the cup." It'll cost "in the hundreds," btw. [WWeek]
