Great news for sweet-toothed Portlanders: Former Ten 01 pastry chef Jeff McCarthy has joined the ranks at Tabla, according to owner Adam Berger. "After the closure of Ten 01, Jeff took a bit of time off and then decided to come over to the east side to Tabla," Berger says. "Look for some really cool desserts from the Master himself. Plus, he looks really good in a Tabla t-shirt." McCarthy joins long-time TB chef Anthony Cafiero in the kitchen — once Cafiero returns from a nearly month-long excursion to Spain, that is.
