Out-of-Town Invasions

Seems like everybody's coming to eat in Portland these days: Today, New York City's Adam Roberts (better known as the Amateur Gourmet) recounts his recent downtown PDX eating experience, during which he cooked with two local (but mystery!) chefs for an upcoming book. The takeaway? Clyde Common's "chipper" waiter, "top-notch" Stumptown, and "Just like Tony Bennett's heart calls to him from San Francisco, that bacon maple doughnut [from VooDoo] will call to me from Portland forevermore."
