NORTHEAST: Beast's hog-taker-downer Naomi Pomeroy visits the comments to announce that she'll soon debut a $30, three-course Sunday supper, to make the Beast experience more accessible to young, broke folk: "In addition to our once a month Vegetarian Dinners (next one Jan 25th), we will also be offering a 3 course Sunday dinner once a month that is $30, and will be available to walk-ins as well as reservations... First one Jan. 30th."
DOWNTOWN: Downtown just got a little bit fatter: The food cart tailor-made for bar-hoppers, Big-Ass Sandwiches, announced that they're debuting a Monday and Tuesday night dinner service in addition to their usual lunch and late-night slots. Dinner starts next Monday, January 10.
DOWNTOWN: FoodDude re-floats a rumor that Higgins Restaurant's Greg Higgins is looking to open a breakfast space, possibly called "Piggins," now targeted for NE Portland.
