Ten 01 Shutter Fallout: GM/Sommelier Out at Tabla

Sources confirm to Eater that the recent shutter of Ten 01 has had an unfortunate ripple effect on owner Adam Berger's other restaurant, Tabla: Tabla general manager and wine director Michael Garofola, who curated one of the more adventurous and progressive wine lists in town, has been let go. (Garofola was quoted last year in a New York Times story about the re-emergence of the "natural wine bar," talking up some of Tabla's more unique pours).

According to a tipster, Tabla will "absorb [the remaining contents of] the Ten 01 cellar," and going forward, will "then plan to make the Tabla list 'more accessible.'"
