The recession's still going strong, but according to reports, sales of craft beer and artisanal cheese have remained steady despite the economic slide. The reason? According to Slate, it's to make up for more expensive luxuries like dining out. "The seemingly endless flavors, textures, and shapes of Greek yogurt, artisanal cheese, and craft beer make us feel like we’re choosing from a new menu each time we go to the store — while we spend less time choosing from actual menus."
