SOUTHWEST: KOi Fusion's permanent kiosk at the Bridgeport Village shopping center is certified open, under the somewhat lengthy moniker Bo Kwon's KOi Fusion. Menu features the usual suspects like Korean tacos, Seoul sliders, kimchi quesadillas, and a KOi rice bowl with choice of protein. [EaterWire]
NORTHEAST: Killingsworth's French-meets-Northwest bistro Cocotte has been tapped as the next site of the Portland Food Adventures series, which combines a one-off, multi-course meal with future experiences hand-picked by the chefs du jour. Cocotte culinary duo Kat Liebman and Zoe Hackett will cook up six courses (with wine pairings) on November 16, and additional post-dinner experiences at Broder, Grain & Gristle, and DOC. Reservations here. [EaterWire]
PEARL DISTRICT: Tiki den Trader Vic's has announced that it'll begin weekend brunch service on Saturday, November 5. Expect slightly out-of-the-ordinary menu items befitting the island theme including a "Egg Fu Young" with ramps, bean sprouts, chanterelles, spinach, and onion gravy. Brunch will be available on Saturdays and Sundays only. [EaterWire]
