Astute commenters at PortlandFood.org point out that Luce, the event space turned neighborhood pantry/Italian restaurant by Navarre's John Taboada, has been up and running under everyone's radar since the beginning of September.
Longtime Navarre chef John Willis offers a lengthy menu featuring 18 different kinds of antipasti for $2 each (examples: salami-stuffed tomatoes, chicken involtino, chicken liver mousse), four pastas, and five entree-sounding specials for $8-12 each. Per the official site, hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 11am to 10pm. If anyone's been, you know what to do.
