In today's super mega event-planning EaterWire:

NORTHEAST: Tabla chef Anthony Cafiero teams with Apolloni Vineyards for the latter's latest installment of its "Pasta & Pinot" series. The October 10 dinner features four courses — including plates of duck confit agnolotti in grana broth and fettucini with roasted chanterelles — paired with Apolloino wines from 2007-2009. Reservations required to the $50 dinner, and are available by emailing here.

PEARL DISTRICT: KitchenCru resident chef Jeff McCarthy reveals the next theme for his TenTop series of pop-up dinners, and this one's meaty: Two seven-course offal dinners, set for this Friday (October 7) and next Monday (October 10), feature courses like pig heart pastrami reuben, pig head ravioli, and veal sweetbreads, all paired with wines from neighboring CorksCru. Reservations to the $75 dinner available here.

BELMONT: Italian "master sommelier" Richard Betts visits Genoa on Sunday, October 9 to show off alpine Nebbiolo wines from Italy's Valtellina region. Chefs David Anderson and Daniel Mondok will cook up a five-course dinner to pair with four Valtellina wines (and one Champagne from Billecart Salmon); reservations to the $120 dinner required and are available here.

DOWNTOWN: Ninkasi Brewing teams up with the Brasserie Montmartre for a seven-course pairing dinner on Friday, October 14. Among the menu items: beer-battered cod (paired with Total Domination IPA), a clam and mussels-laden seafood paella (served with pours of Believer Double Red Ale), and braised beef short ribs (down it with Oatis Oatmeal Stout). Dinner will set you back $65, not including gratuity; reservations available by calling the restaurant. UPDATE 10/5: The cost of the dinner has been changed to $45 per person; all other details remain the same.

CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL: The next installment of the chef's choice-driven Portland Food Adventures has been set for the Eastside locale of Olympic Provisions, with chef Alex Yoder cooking up a multi-course dinner — then sending guests home with gift certificates to his favorite spots, including the Driftwood Room, Bar Avignon, and Little T American Baker. Tickets to the October 11 event are $125 and all-inclusive of food, wine, gratuity, and gift certificates to be used at a later date. More information and tickets available at the official site.
