DOWNTOWN: Ninkasi Brewing teams up with the Brasserie Montmartre for a seven-course pairing dinner on Friday, October 14. Among the menu items: beer-battered cod (paired with Total Domination IPA), a clam and mussels-laden seafood paella (served with pours of Believer Double Red Ale), and braised beef short ribs (down it with Oatis Oatmeal Stout). Dinner will set you back $65, not including gratuity; reservations available by calling the restaurant. CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL: The next installment of the chef's choice-driven Portland Food Adventures has been set for the Eastside locale of Olympic Provisions, with chef Alex Yoder cooking up a multi-course dinner — then sending guests home with gift certificates to his favorite spots, including the Driftwood Room, Bar Avignon, and Little T American Baker.
