According to head honcho Duane Sorenson, the buzzy Woodsman Tavern is set to debut its brunch service next Saturday (November 26). As just as chef Jason Barwikowski promised Eater earlier this fall, a griddle burger is indeed on the brunch menu (simply served with onions and French's mustard). Other brunch options: bread pudding French toast with maple butter; a cheddar biscuit dish with country ham, fried egg, and watercress salad; and a whole roasted trout served with potatoes o'brien. Cocktails by Evan Zimmerman include bottle conditioned Bloody Marys; Vac-Pot hot toddys and the Rainer Gin Fizz (which Zimmerman describes as "a Ramos Gin Fizz with beer in lieu of soda water.") Get in line now: Hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9am-2pm. [EaterWire]
