Welcome back to the I-5 High Five, a look at restaurant news from up-and-down the Pacific Northwest corridor.

SEATTLE: For Emerald City lookie-loos, a few upcoming spots on the horizon in Seattle: A Lebanese eatery is slated for a December opening in Ballard; while Bainbridge's Hitchcock Restaurant has quietly opened a casual sister deli, launching today. On the more-unfortunate front, this week saw the shutter of Belltown retail shop Local 360 Mercantile.

SEATTLE: Heading north for Thanksgiving? If so, Eater Seattle has its own version of the Thanksgiving Heat Map, featuring vegetarian and vegan options (Cafe Flora, Plum Bistro) and an all-out holiday blowout feast (The Herbfarm, whose Thanksgiving dinner will set you back $225/head). Or, if hangover brunch is more your thing, Surly Gourmand compiles his list of Seattle's best croque madames. [-ESEA-]

WILLAMETTE VALLEY: PoMo has a helpful round-up paring down the list of Wine Country Thanksgiving's 160 participating wineries to a more manageable 14 must-dos. [Eat Beat]
