Southeast Banh Mi Spot Double Dragon Opens Today

Just to get this out of the way: Double Dragon, the new Southeast spot by Momofuku/Bunk Sandwiches alum Rob Walls, has nothing to do with late-'80s beat-em-up arcade game. (OMG tease, we know.) But the eat-in/take-out banh mi shop, which takes over SE Division's Artemis Cafe location, is set to make its debut today, serving up Portland-influenced versions of the classic Vietnamese sandwich. The nine-item menu features two soups (including a roasted carrot veloute) and sandwiches like pork belly with jalapeño, pineapple, brown sugar, and a dinner-only roast duck highlighted with orange, ginger, pepper, and cloves. And because this is Portland, bacon can be added to any sandwich, obvs.
