StarChefs Adds Three More Categories to PDX Awards

In anticipation for its StarChefs Rising Stars gala (and apparently because editor-in-chief Antoinette Bruno really likes to drink), the online culinary magazine has announced three additional Portland-centric awards will be handed out during the December 5 event. The "Rising Stars Artisan Awards" will name winners in the categories of Coffee Roasting, Distilling, and Craft Brewing, which Bruno writes in her latest editor's letter "highlight the outsize national influence, DIY spirit, and serious ambition of the Portland craft beverage community." Unlike the already-named chef winners, Artisan award recipients will be announced at the event itself.
