Just in time for cold weather/comfort food season, Kalé — the Japanese curry restaurant that left its Goose Hollow digs this part March to search for a better location — has (softly) opened up shop downtown in the 55-seat former Bush Garden spot. Chef/owner Makoto Yoshino is sticking to the same simple formula, with a menu of three curry options and a variety of add-on toppings served over rice; guests order at the counter and can take a seat at one of Bush's old "tatami compartment" booths, now stripped down and freshened up. Yashimoto hopes to add more beverage options pending OLCC license approval. Hours of operation: Monday-Saturday, 11am-8pm.
