It lives! After a series of delays that pushed back a projected opening from March to July to big ol' question mark of this year, the PDX outpost of Neapolitan pizza chain Via Tribunali is scheduled to make its debut on Tuesday, November 15. (The project — a partnership between Caffe Vita founder Mike McConnell , local restaurateur Bruce Carey, and musician Jason Finn — been in the works since January of last year.)
According to a morning press release (and as photos attest), Via Tribunali's 1,500-square-foot space features "an ample bar, light fixtures hand blown by local artist Eric Pauli, cozy booths, an upstairs mezzanine and a community table," and Neapolitan pizzaiolo Gennaro Nasti will be tasked with manning the brick oven. Hours of operation are slated for 4pm-midnight Tues-Thursday & Sunday; 4pm-2am on Friday and Saturday.
More information as it becomes available.
