[Avila, 11/30/11]
Previously, Eater debuted the menu of restaurateur/professional foodie Nick Zukin's guisados spot Mi Mero Mole, and now, a look at the space, which is officially open on SE Division. In addition to the recycled wood pallet design detail (which separates the counter area from the adjacent dining room), the main dining room wall will soon feature an Aztec-inspired mural, painted by local kids from Gresham.
Mi Mero Mole's hours of operation are 5pm to 9pm, Tuesday-Thursday; 5pm-10pm Friday and Saturday. And Zukin already has special events in mind for the space. Per the Twitters: "I'm onsidering doing a special Mexican Christmas feast on Sunday, December 18th, for $25/head with real servers and everything." The dinner, should it becomes finalized, would feature four courses and some special Mexican holiday cocktails.
