Less than a week after a two-alarm electrical fire put a damper on opening festivities, N. Mississippi bar Interurban — an all-star collaboration between Toro Bravo's John Gorham, ChefStable's Kurt Huffman, and Prost's Dan Hart — will open in a "limited capacity" tomorrow, just a day after its original scheduled opening. "We'll be open Friday," Huffman tells Eater. "We don't know how smoky it's going to smell or what the menu's going to be, but we'll be open and serving all of our beverages."
The upstairs kitchen and dining room, which sustained the majority of the fire damage, is still at least "two weeks out" from being useable space, Huffman says.
