NE Alberta's Suzette Creperie is moving out of its Airstream Trailer and into roomier brick-and-mortar digs. According to an announcement on Facebook, owner Jehnee Rains will move her sweet-and-savory crepe spot into the SE Belmont space currently occupied by Hall of Records, a cafe and vinyl shop that opened in August of last year.

Hall of Records co-owner Katie Schawaroch confirms the switch: "In the end, Hall of Records became way more of a nighttime bar than we ever envisioned," she says. "That type of business didn't really fit us nor the size of the space, so we decided to sell. Our last day will be Friday, December 23rd and we'll be going out with a big party."

Rains will take over the space — most famously home to It's a Beautiful Pizza — in the new year, with hopes to re-open Suzette with a full liquor license before February. The last day for Suzette on Alberta will be New Year's Eve, and according to Rains, the old location has already found new owners: "We've sold our trailer to the wonderful folks from Aladdin's Castle Cafe and can't wait to see the next life of our old space." More information as it becomes available.
