N. MISSISSIPPI: Less than three weeks after an electrical fire put its opening in jeopardy, the Gorham/Huffman/Hart collaboration Interurban will begin "full operations" starting tonight — aka, with its kitchen serving the full menu. [EaterWire]
SOUTHEAST: For the month of December, Genoa is celebrating the restaurant's 40th anniversary (and second in its "new incarnation") with a tasting menu full of dishes that "revisits a classic from the archive of menus we have," according to chef David Anderson. Extra bonus points: Said old-school menu features an additional course to show off the menu in its "original format." The anniversario menu will be available until December 31. [EaterWire]
NE ALBERTA: Earlier this week, we reported that Iraqi food cart Aladdin's Castle Cafe was moving into the space soon to be vacated by Suzette Creperie, and over on Facebook, Aladdin's owners Ghaith and Tiffany Sahib reveal that the Alberta spot will serve as Aladdin's second location. The flagship Aladdin's moved to SE Division's A La Carts pod in August after debuting in North Portland earlier this year. [EaterWire]
