New Booze Rules

Good news for one-stop-shop boozers: The Oregon Liquor Control Commission has introduced possible changes to the state's "Prohibition-era" law that liquor can't be sold alongside beer and wine. According to the O, two rule changes would 1) allow liquor stores to sell wine and beer, and 2) allow larger grocery stores to open "store within a store" liquor outlets. The proposal goes in front of the OLCC commission in March. [OregonLive]
