Ristretto Roasters NW, Guild Public House Open

NORTHWEST INDUSTRIAL: The third Portland outpost of Ristretto Roasters debuted in a multi-use NW Industrial warehouse space over the weekend. Owners Din Johnson and Nancy Rommelman founded the Ristretto brand in Beaumont in 2005, with a N. Williams cafe added in 2008. The NW spot's hours of operation: 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday; 8am-6pm Saturday, 8am-4pm Sunday.

LOWER BURNSIDE: The Guild Public House has officially been resurrected. As previously reported, the East Burnside watering hole, which shuttered in October, has been taken over by the trio of Vintage Cocktail Lounge's Justin Akins, Trebol's Kenny Hill, and partner Daniel Roy. The menu's been revamped (a soft-opening menu featured items like open-faced pastrami sandwiches and meatball subs), and the eight-item tap list also features a "two fingers and a back" deal, which pairs beer with a shot of liquor. Hours: 4pm-2:30am, seven days a week.
