Per PoMo's Eat Beat, cheap eats spot Wayne's Chicago Red Hots apparently shuttered in late November after more than three years at its NE MLK location. According to the official website, owner Randy Sanders "closed the doors to Wayne's due to a medical condition that made it impossible to deal with all the duties needed to properly run a business." The farewell note also hints at stress with "fighting the constant food price increases and fuel costs." [Eat Beat]
